Dean Klug

Dean A. Klug, M.D., F.A.C.S., FAAOA

Dr. Klug attended the University of Arkansas for his undergraduate and medical degree.  While there, he did research for the Department of Otolaryngology.  He also had a student fellowship at the National Cancer Institute.  He completed his internship in Memphis and his Otolaryngology training at the University of Texas-Houston.  He then worked at MacGregor Clinic and was a clinical instructor at the University of Texas-Houston where his primary work was with pediatric patients.

He returned to Memphis to be close to home and joined Mid-South Ear, Nose and Throat.

He is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, The American College of Surgeons and The American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.

He was the first in Memphis to perform Balloon Sinuplasty, a technique used to unblock sinuses using balloons.  He has been on several advisory committees to help develop new surgical instrumentation.

Dr. Klug has been chosen by his Peers as a Top Doctor for the past 13 consecutive years.

Sri Naidu

Sri I. Naidu, M.D., F.A.C.S., FAAOA

Dr Naidu, born and raised in the United States, spent his childhood in the Atlanta area before going off to college. He attended the University of California at Berkeley for undergraduate studies. Dr Naidu then returned back to the southeast for medical school at the University of Alabama, School of Medicine in Birmingham from which he graduated in 1998. He was elected class president in medical school and went on to residency in otolaryngology, also known as Ear, Nose, and throat surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, Tennessee. He received the College of Medicine Teaching award in 2002 and graduated in 2004. He is board-certified in his surgical specialty of Otolaryngology (American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery) and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, as well as the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.

Dr Naidu has practiced as a partner of Mid-South ENT ever since completing his residency more than 10 years ago. He and his office staff, including 2 nurse practitioners, care for both children and adults with issues of the ears, nose and sinuses, and neck and throat. He sees patients in 2 clinic locations: Germantown at 7600 Wolf River Blvd, Suite 220 and Collierville at 1458 West Poplar Avenue Suite 204. He operates at multiple hospitals and surgery centers to better accommodate patient needs and insurance preferences. He sees a large number of pediatric patients and works at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and Surgery Center as well as Baptist Children's Hospital to care for some of these patients.

While Dr. Naidu cares for problems of all areas of the ears, nose, and throat, he does care for a large percentage of children. Children with ear infections, snoring, sinus infections, and neck masses and infections are just some of the ailments that Dr. Naidu can help manage. In his adult patients, he also sees many with ear infections and hearing or balance problems, voice problems, and sinus and allergy issues among others.

When he is not working, Dr. Naidu enjoys spending time with his family. He has been married to his wife, Paula, for 15 years and has 2 boys, Jason and Ravi. They enjoy bird watching, biking, the theater, and traveling. Dr Naidu sings in an a cappella group in Memphis called Deltacappella. He has been with them"since 2008 and has performed both locally and even outside the Mid-south area as far as Las Vegas and even Shanghai, China. Outside of his musical interests, Dr. Naidu enjoys exercising, running, and cooking.

Received his M.D. in May of 1998 from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Received the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Medicine Teaching Award in June 2002. Recently awarded from the Memphis Area Lactation Consultant Association as the Breastfeeding Friendly Physician Award. Dr. Naidu uses current state of the art surgery with such techniques as intraoperative computer-assisted navigation.

Mark Milburn

Mark A. Milburn, M.D., F.A.C.S., FAAOA

Dr. Mark Milburn received his MD from the Medical University of South Carolina at Charleston. He then came to Memphis for two years of general surgery residency followed by four years of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery training. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery.

He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.

Dr. Milburn has done research in cochlear immunocytochemistry and established a research laboratory at UT/Memphis during residency.

He has traveled to Geneva, Switzerland for specialized training in salivary gland endoscopic surgery (sialendoscopy) and established the first program in Memphis for endoscopic care of salivary disorders.

Dr. Milburn has performed medical missions in Ecuador, China, and Peru.

He has a diverse ENT practice with special interests in endocrine and salivary surgery and surgical oncology of the head and neck. He has served as division chairman for the Otolaryngology departments at both Methodist and Baptist hospital systems.

Dr. Milburn is married with four children. He and his wife, Jennifer, enjoy travel and theater. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and working on his small farm.

John Touliatos

John S. Touliatos, M.D., F.A.C.S., FAAOA

Dr. John Touliatos is an alumni of Evangelical Christian School, Mississippi College, and the University of Tennessee Medical College. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.

He has 5 children, and he and his wife enjoy an active lifestyle that includes Iron Tribe, tennis, and wakesurfing. They are members of First Evangelical Church and involved in the Memphis Downline Institute.

Bruce Fetterman

Bruce L. Fetterman, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Fetterman grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Woodward Academy, where he was both an All-American athlete and valedictorian of his graduating class. Next, he went to Duke University, and graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. degree in zoology. Dr. Fetterman went to medical school at the Medical College of Georgia, where he was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society, and graduated at the top of his class.

Dr. Fetterman did his internship in surgery and residency in otolaryngology / head and neck surgery at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. After residency, he spent an extra year specializing in otology and neurotology during a fellowship at the House Ear Clinic and House Ear Institute in Los Angeles. While there, he learned advanced techniques for removing tumors from the hearing and balance nerves, the details of cochlear implantation, operations for all types of chronic ear infection, and many other specialized otologic / neurotologic procedures.

After his extensive training, he became an assistant professor at the Medical College of Georgia, where he was the head of Otology and Neurotology and Director of the temporal bone laboratory. In 1998, he moved to Memphis, where he established a medical and surgical practice devoted entirely to the treatment of ear, hearing, and balance problems.

Dr. Fetterman is board- certified in Otolaryngology/ Head and Neck Surgery. He has written many scientific articles and book chapters and has lectured at medical meetings nationwide. He is a member of many societies, including American Neurotology Society, North American Skull Base Society, Vestibular Disorders Association, Politzer Society, Sir Charles Bell Society, American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery, American Board of Otolaryngology, American Laryngological, Rhinological and Otological Society, Tennessee Medical Association, Memphis / Shelby County Medical Society, and Memphis Society of Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr Scott Burge

Scott D. Burge, M.D., FAAOA, FAAP

Dr. Scott D. Burge received his M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He then completed his residency in “ENT” at Oklahoma University College of Medicine followed by fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX. After finishing his training, he stayed on as an Assistant Professor for 2 years at Texas Children’s Hospital until he and his family moved to Memphis in 2019 to be closer to their family.

Dr. Burge is Board Certified with the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.

As mentioned previously, Dr. Burge is trained in caring for Ear, Nose, Throat and Allergy problems for both adults and children, and his additional training in Pediatric Otolaryngology qualifies him for more complex surgical care of children. He believes that every patient deserves the highest quality care, and he strives to partner with patients and families in achieving that goal.

 

Dr Shepherd

Brandon A. Shepherd, M.D.

Dr. Shepherd grew up in the Memphis area and attended the University of Memphis where he received a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. He then worked locally in the medical device industry before pursuing his M.D. at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. During his medical training, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and graduated with high honors.

He went on to complete his residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He and his family then returned home to Memphis to join Mid-South Ear, Nose, and Throat and fulfill Dr. Shepherd’s dream of being a “hometown doc.” He is the co-author of a book chapter on the association of allergy and sleep and has authored several scientific papers.

Dr. Shepherd is trained to care for the breadth of adult and pediatric otolaryngology allergy and sleep surgery. He also has unique training in the state of the art surgical management of obstructive sleep apnea aimed at patients who are unable to tolerate their CPAP - Inspire hypoglossal nerve stimulator therapy. Dr. Shepherd is one of only three surgeons in all of West TN performing this procedure.

He has participated in several medical mission trips to Honduras, including medical, surgical, and spiritual investment into the community.

When not working, Dr. Shepherd, his wife, and their three girls enjoy spending time enjoying the various activities and food that Memphis has to offer, travelling, and are active in their local church.

 

James Tansey Head Shot

Dr James Benjamin Tansey, MD

Otolaryngologist – Head and Neck Surgeon

Dr. Tansey is an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist with advanced expertise in the medical and surgical management of sinus disease, airway disorders, endocrine conditions—including thyroid and parathyroid disorders—and obstructive sleep apnea. He provides compassionate, evidence-based care to patients of all ages, with a clinical interest in both pediatric and adult ENT conditions.

Dr. Tansey earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) College of Medicine in Memphis, where he also completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. His training emphasized comprehensive care across the lifespan, from common pediatric concerns such as ear infections and tonsil disease to complex adult conditions involving the sinuses, airway, and head and neck.

He is passionate about helping patients breathe, sleep, and live better through personalized treatment plans that may include medical therapy, minimally invasive procedures, or advanced surgical techniques.

Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Dr. Tansey is proud to care for the community he has always called home. He is actively involved in his local church and values faith, family, and service as central parts of his life. Outside of work, he enjoys watching the Memphis Grizzlies, playing golf and spending time with his wife and their three children.

Anne Moffatt

Anne Moffatt, FNP-BC, MSN, BSN

Nancy Anne Moffatt, a native Memphian, graduated from the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences. She completed her M.S.N., graduating magna cum laude in 1994 and was credentialed by the ANCC as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She worked in Primary Care/lnternal Medicine until 2005, at which time she joined Mid South Ear, Nose & Throat. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and West TN Nurse Practitioner's Association. Mrs. Moffatt enjoys seeing both pediatric and adult patients at both the Germantown and Bartlett offices. Mrs. Moffatt and her husband have two sons and two grandsons. Outside of the office she enjoys running, gardening and weekends in Oxford, Mississippi.

Michelle Pattat

Michelle M. Pattat, FNP-BC, MSN, MHA

Michelle Murchison Pattat was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. She graduated cum laude from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, with a Bachelor's in business administration in 1988 then went on to earn a Master's in healthcare administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1990. After working as an assistant administrator at Children's Hospital in Richmond, Virginia, for two years, Michelle realized that she wanted to be more involved in patient care. She returned to graduate school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, where she received a master's of science in nursing and became board-certified as a family nurse practitioner in 1995.

Before moving to Memphis, Michelle was in family practice in Lauderdale County, Tennessee, for about ten years. She did additional training in otolaryngology and joined Mid-South Ear, Nose and Throat in 2006. She sees adult and pediatric patients at two locations: 7600 Wolf River Blvd, Suite 220, in Germantown and 1458 West Poplar Avenue, Suite 204, in Collierville.

Michelle and her husband, Clayton, have been married 22 years and live in Arlington. They have three sons and a miniature schnauzer named Abraham. The oldest, Tyler, lives in Germantown, is married to Caroline and has a daughter, Ellie Mac. For the last seven years, Michelle has homeschooled Avery, 18, who will be going off to college in the fall, and Eli, 15, who is a freshman in high school. They are very involved in their church, Bellevue Arlington, where Clayton and Michelle work with the youth group and Michelle plays the keyboard in the worship band. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys watching her boys play sports, reading, music and traveling.

Lauren Bruff

Lauren Bruff, FNP-BC, MSN, BSN

Lauren Bruff joined Mid-South Ear, Nose & Throat in 2011. She sees patients at Mid-South Allergy Center at the Wolf River location. She is a family nurse practitioner who is trained in the testing and treatment of allergies. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Memphis in 2007. She received her Masters of Nursing at the University of Memphis in 2011.

Lauren is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.

Amanda Person

Amanda Person, FNP-BC, MSN, BSN

Amanda Person is a native of the Memphis area. She graduated from Bartlett High School and went on to attend the University of Memphis. In 2001 she earned a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, graduating magna cum laude. She worked in the Emergency Department at Methodist Healthcare as a staff nurse and then in a management role. In 2007, Mrs. Person returned to the University of Memphis and in 2008 earned a Master's of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner studies. During her graduate studies, she enjoyed working as a graduate assistant teaching undergraduate nursing students, and one of her writings was selected for publication by the Online Journal of Advanced Nursing Practice.

Mrs. Person was honored with recognition by the University as the Family Nurse Practiioner Student of the Year for 2008. After working for 4 years in the family practice setting, Amanda joined Dr. Klug and Mid-South Ear, Nose & Throat in January 2013. She sees patients at the Bartlett and Wolf River office.

Mrs. Person enjoys spending time with her family, bargain shopping, and traveling.

AshleyMarsh

Ashley Marsh, APN

Ashley Marsh was born and raised in Memphis, TN. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South College in Knoxville, TN. She worked as a registered nurse for the next 7 years in various roles including inpatient/outpatient for the University of Tennessee Medical Center and Novant Health and as charge nurse in the Emergency Department at Emory University Hospital. During this time, Ashley attended Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Medicine. She is certified by and a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Ashley and her husband have two sons. She is an avid runner and has completed several half marathons. She enjoys spending her time with family, playing with her children, cooking, and traveling.

Cory Bunch

Cory Bunch, FNP-BC, ENP-BC, MSN, BSN

Cory Bunch is originally from Middle Tennessee. He attended the University of Memphis and graduated with his BSN in 2000. After working in the hospital setting, Cory returned to the University of Memphis and received his Masters of Nursing in 2005. Cory is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and an Emergency Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

He and his wife, Sharon, have two daughters. Cory enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, being in the great outdoors and watching his girls play soccer. Cory looks forward to meeting, evaluating and treating patients with allergies and asthma.

Jamie West Covington, FNP-BC, MSN, BSN

Jamie West Covington was born in Birmingham, Alabama and moved to Memphis in her early childhood.  She graduated from Immaculate Conception High School and then attended the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing.  As a Registered Nurse, Jamie worked in the Emergency Room and ICU at the Methodist University Hospital (Central).   Jamie received her BSN from Memphis State University (now University of Memphis) in 1994.  She completed her MSN, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Delta State University in 1999.

Jamie is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.   As a Nurse Practitioner, Jamie has worked in General/Family Practice, Primary Care, Internal Medicine, and Emergency Medicine until at which she joined Mid-South Ear Nose & Throat.  Jamie enjoys seeing both pediatric and adult patients at the 7600 Wolf River Blvd, Suite 220 location in Germantown, TN.

Jamie and her husband Ken have two sons, West and Matthew, and new daughter-in-law Ashley.  She enjoys exercising, biking, traveling, and spending time with all her family during the various holidays and other events.   

Lucchesi

Gina Lucchesi, NP

Gina Lucchesi is originally from the Memphis area and has lived here all of her life. She graduated from Saint Benedict at Auburndale High School, and went on to the University of Memphis, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2005. Gina worked for Methodist Healthcare in the Emergency Department setting for 17 years in various positions, both at the bedside and in leadership. In 2014, Gina again graduated from the University of Memphis, Loewenberg School of Nursing Masters program. She became a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and continued her work in Emergency Services.

Gina and her husband, Mike, have 4 children, 3 sons and 1 daughter, ages 5 to 16 years old. Gina most enjoys spending time with her family and watching her children play sports. She loves the outdoors, gardening, and spending time on her porch, reading and enjoying nature’s beauty. Gina still works some shifts in the Emergency Department in her off time, and looks forward to serving patients with head, ear, nose and throat concerns in this office.

Seaton

Regina Seaton, NP

Regina G. Seaton, a native of the Memphis area,graduated from the Baptist School of Nursing and University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences. She completed her M. s. n.,graduating Cum Laude in 1996 and was credentialed by the ANCC as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in Pediatric, Adult and Surgical Oncology, Internal Medicine, OBGYN and Allergy Asthma and Immunology prior to joining Midsouth Ear, Nose and Throat. She is a member of sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Ms. Seaton enjoys both pediatric and adult patients at the Germantown office. Ms. Seaton and her husband have one daughter, three sons and 3 cats. Outside of the office she enjoys cooking, travel, photography and gardening.

Brittany Smith, PA

We welcomed Brittany to our practice in October 2024. She works alongside Dr. Naidu and team to help bring integrative care their patients. Brittany is a native Memphian who obtained her undergrad degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She became a Physician Assistant in 2011 and has since served the area in specialties such as Emergency Medicine, Orthopedics, and Aesthetics. She loves helping people get better and feel better! When not working, she can be found at the gym or shuffling her three kids from one activity to the other.

GInger Raff Picture

Ginger Raff, FNP

Ginger Raff earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS, where she was born and raised. After graduating she went on to work as a registered nurse for 8 years before returning to UMMC to earn her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in family practice. Ginger is certified by and an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has provided ENT care to both pediatric and adult patients for the past 11 years.

When not working, Ginger, her husband, and 2 children enjoy the outdoors, traveling, cooking, and gardening. She is excited to continue providing ear, nose and throat care with the Midsouth ENT team.

WHITNEY SCHLAFER, FNP-BC, MSN, BSN

Whitney Schlafer joined Mid-South Ear, Nose, and Throat in 2025. She sees asthma and allergy patients at the Olive Branch location.

Whitney was born and raised in Memphis, TN. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Memphis in 2012. After graduation she worked in the cardiovascular intensive care unit within the Methodist Healthcare system for five years. Whitney earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Austin Peay State University in 2016. She then worked in emergency department as a nurse practitioner for seven years. Whitney is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Whitney enjoys spending time with her family , watching college sports, and golfing.

Haley Freeman- Picture

Haley Freeman, MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC

Haley Freeman was born and raised around the Memphis area. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Memphis in 2013 and her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2018. She is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, with a specialty in Pediatrics, who has a deep commitment in providing comprehensive, compassionate care. Now practicing at Mid-South ENT, alongside Dr. Touliatos, Haley brings a wealth of clinical experience and a patient-centered approach to managing ear, nose, and throat conditions across the lifespan. Her focus is on delivering personalized treatment plans that improve health outcomes and enhance quality of life for every patient.

With over a decade in healthcare, including specialized work in pediatric neurology and emergency medicine, Haley blends clinical expertise with a strong foundation in patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration. She has also served as an instructor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, mentoring future healthcare professionals and contributing to the advancement of evidence-based practice.

As a recent cancer survivor, Haley offers a unique and empathetic perspective on the patient experience. Her own personal journey informs her practice, enabling her to connect with patients on a deeper level and advocate for care that is both clinically sound and emotionally supportive. It has also fueled her passion for treating the whole person—not just the condition—and ensures every patient feels seen, heard, and supported. She truly believes in living life fully and brings that same passion to her work with every patient and family she serves.

When Haley is not working, she enjoys traveling, hiking/being outdoors, spending time with her husband, her two young children, and their three large-breed dogs.

Hailey Kelly, PA-C

Hailey Kelly is originally from Jackson, MS. Hailey attended Mississippi State University to obtain her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology.  After obtaining her bachelor’s degree she pursued a master’s in medical science at Mississippi College with a focus in Physician Assistant studies. She was awarded the Chair Award upon graduation which is given to the student who best exemplifies the mission of the program and the Physician Assistant profession. After graduation she sub specialized in orthopedics and practiced in that profession for quite some time. She is a member of American Academy of Physician Assistants, Tennessee Academy of Physician assistants, and Mississippi Academy of Physician Assistants. She has recently joined Mid-south ENT and is thrilled to take care of both the pediatric and adult population in both Arlington and Germantown.

When she is not working, she spends time with her husband and two boys. She most enjoys time outdoors, scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
